A little bit about me…
Okay, I’ll say it: I’m fascinated with cooking and just about anything to do with food and beverages like wine, coffee and tea. I’m passionate about culinary arts, travel, design, and fashion styling. Heck, I just love art of any kind, period.
Growing up in San Jose, I would always join my mother on Sunday mornings to pick wild greens that grew along the roadside. I still remember how fascinated I was at being in the kitchen cooking with her. It was there that I learned the elements of cooking with style and the use of essential ingredients to bring out the best characteristics of the food that was being prepared. I have always been fascinated with food and believe that great food lends itself to great conversation, which creates great experiences and excellent memories.
Before graduating from the Escoffier Culinary Academy and The Sushi Institute of America I was a prolific home cook and a former model who was very fortunate to be able to travel and live in a vast number of countries around the world. My travels have allowed me to sample the diversity of foods and cultures that have influenced my creative take on world cuisine. Cooking it simply what I’m meant to do.

Hi, my name is Konima and what can I say? This girl is a serious “Foodie” who loves to organize food events.
I first began planning these events in Mozambique where I was one of the creators of SIN Productions, a group that hosted theme parties in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. I have a real passion for language and along with English I speak Portuguese, German and French.
I’m a Canadian who grew up in Europe and then settled for a spell in Africa. When I moved to Los Angeles I put my planning experience to use by coordinating launch events for private businesses, non-profits and galleries. My
organization skills, resourcefulness and artistic ability make me the ultimate go to girl for enjoyable events that are rooted in a culinary experience.
